Middle School Goes Golfing!

Mrs. Mosser brought in a Golf Coach from First Tee to help teach our Middle School how to Golf.

• There is no school on Friday, May 27, and Monday, May 30, for Memorial Day weekend.

• The last day of school is on Wednesday, June 8.

Spring Concert!

 

Science Fair, Echo Hill, and Gardening!

Early April was awash in science. We started the month with the 6th and 7th graders finalizing their Science Fair experiment and creating their display boards for the Expo. It was wonderful being able to welcome families back to HCA to take in all of the hard work done by the students for the Expo. We are also so proud of the four 7th graders who chose to compete in the Delaware County Science Fair, Aidan Zwilling, Sophia Kehoe, Sam Kehoe, and John Smith. Aidan placed second in his category and qualified for the Delaware Valley Science Fair!

Soon after the Expo, the 7th and 8th graders visited Echo Hill Outdoor School, another tradition we were able to bring back this year. They tested their bravery on the zip line, and worked on different team-building challenges. It was a great pause on a beautiful day from the typical school routine. 

Not to be outdone by all of the April science excitement, the 5th graders have been learning about plants and applying their knowledge to the school garden while helping to get it prepped for the growing season. Look out for the new vegetables which should be sprouting soon!
